Coffee Truffles Recipe

Coffee truffles are a coffee lovers' dream come true!

All you need is a handful of quality ingredients, a good method, and a little patience, and voilà, you have coffee truffles that rival the ones you'd see for sale in the window of a fancy candy shop.

Ingredients

  • 80 g Milk chocolate

  • 200g Dark chocolate

  • 160 ml Heavy Cream

  • 20 g Unsalted Butter

  • 1 Tablespoon Instant coffee

  • 70 g Cocoa biscuits

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

Directions

  1. Chop the milk and dark chocolate into pieces. Heat the heavy cream together with the instant coffee over low heat and once it has boiled, remove it from the heat.

  2. Add the chocolate and the butter. Wait a few minutes and mix until the mixture becomes smooth.

  3. Finely chop the biscuits and add them to the mixture.

  4. Put the mixture in the fridge for at least two hours.

  5. Form balls with the help of a teaspoon and arrange them well apart from each other on a large baking sheets covered with parchment paper.

  6. Transfer the truffles to the fridge and let them rest for about an hour.

  7. Sprinkle the coffee and chocolate truffles with the cocoa powder and arrange them on a tray.
