Ciao, I'm Isabella
I’m Isabella, born in Puglia, reborn in Texas.
This is where I share my journey: from a life in tech to finding myself through flour, memories, and the warmth of Southern Italian traditions.
Italian Experiences is my way of staying connected to who I am, and of inviting you to my table, wherever you are.
My Story
I come from a sun-drenched corner of southern Italy, Puglia, where life moves with the rhythm of the seasons, the scent of homemade bread fills the streets, and traditions are passed down like family heirlooms.

In Italy, I worked in the IT world — structured, fast-paced, precise. But when I moved to the United States to follow my husband, I found myself in a moment of pause. Everything around me was new: the language, the culture, the rhythm of life. I felt like I had to start from scratch, searching not just for a new path, but for a new version of myself.

To stay connected with my roots, I started offering Italian language classes and organizing small cultural events. It was my way of sharing a piece of home with others. But slowly, I began to understand that what truly spoke to people — and to me — was the food.

During that time, I enrolled in a pastry program in Houston and completed the first level. That experience opened a new door and helped me realize that food was my truest language. It brought together all the things I loved: culture, creativity, connection.

Then came the sweetest surprise of all, my daughter.
I paused everything to be present for her first year, allowing life to slow down once again.
And in that stillness, my vision became even clearer.

Today, Italian Experiences is all about sharing the flavors and soul of my homeland. My focus is on the traditional cuisine of Puglia, enriched with recipes from across Italy — always with heart, always homemade. I share stories, offer cooking classes, and soon, I’ll be bringing my baked goods to local farmers markets and online.

This isn’t just about food. It’s about identity, memory, and creating something meaningful, one bite at a time.
